By using lordreverb.com you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

1. Who operates this site

LordReverb is currently run by Salvatore Tomaselli, a private individual based in Heerhugowaard, Netherlands ("the operator"). Questions? Email info@lordreverb.com.

The operator may change over time, for example, if the site transitions to a registered business or is transferred to a new owner. See section 9 for how that is handled.

2. What LordReverb is

LordReverb is a website covering music production, plugins, gear and artist tools. It includes editorial content (reviews, guides, comparisons) and community features, Stacks, Playlists, News and Releases, where artists can publicly share their studio setup, pitch tracks to curated playlists, publish press announcements, and promote music releases.

This site is currently non-commercial and does not sell products. This may change in the future. Where the site links to third-party products, there is no control over their pricing, availability or policies.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, in line with Dutch AVG requirements for digital services. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may sign in using Google, Apple or Facebook via Clerk, our authentication provider. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Accounts may be suspended or removed if they violate these terms, post false or misleading information, or engage in behaviour that damages the site or community.

4. Stacks, your public profile

A Stack is a public profile page showing your studio setup. By submitting a Stack and ticking the consent checkbox, you agree to the following:

• The information in your Stack is accurate and you have the right to share it.
• Your Stack and all public profile fields, including display name, gear, plugins, social links, studio photo and avatar, are visible to anyone on the internet and may be indexed by search engines.
• You grant the operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable licence to display, reproduce and distribute your Stack on lordreverb.com, in marketing and promotional materials, and in connection with the LordReverb brand, including by any successor entity if the site is sold or transferred.
• You confirm you have the rights to any photos you upload.

This licence ends when you delete your Stack, except for copies already made in good faith for promotional purposes (e.g. a social post featuring your Stack) which may remain.

Don't impersonate other artists or submit a Stack that misrepresents your setup. Any Stack may be removed at any time if it violates these terms or contains spam or false information.

5. Community research data

The Stack form includes an optional section where you can share information about your production habits and preferences, such as experience level, tool usage, purchasing behaviour and workflow preferences. This data is never shown publicly.

By providing this data and ticking the consent checkbox, you agree that it may be used for the following purposes:

• Conducting anonymous audience research about the music production market.
• Improving site content, features and product development.
• Internal business analytics, including after any transition to a commercial entity or change of ownership.
• Demonstrating aggregate audience insights to potential partners, advertisers or acquirers, in anonymised, non-attributable form only.

This data will not be used to send you unsolicited individual marketing communications, sold as a list to third parties, or shared in a form that identifies you personally without your separate explicit consent.

It is deleted when you delete your account.

6. Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter, you consent to receiving email communications from LordReverb. These may include content updates, product announcements, industry insights and, if the site becomes commercial, relevant offers. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

Your newsletter subscription transfers with the site in the event of a sale or change of operator. The new operator will be required to honour your consent choices and unsubscribe requests.

7. Deleting your Stack and account

You can delete your Stack or your entire account at any time from your account page. Deleting your account removes your Stack, your community research data and your login from our systems. Images uploaded to Cloudflare R2 are also removed. This is immediate and permanent.

Aggregated and anonymised data derived from your submissions, where it is no longer possible to identify you, is not subject to deletion requests, in line with GDPR Recital 26.

8. Site content

All editorial content on LordReverb, articles, reviews, guides, images, is the work of the operator or is used with permission. Don't copy, reproduce or redistribute it without written permission.

Real effort goes into keeping content accurate, but accuracy and completeness cannot always be guaranteed. See the Disclaimer for more.

9. Change of operator and transfer of ownership

LordReverb may at any point transition from a personal project to a registered business, or be sold, merged or transferred to a new owner ("successor operator"). When this happens:

• Personal data held by LordReverb, including account data, Stack data, community research data and newsletter subscriptions, will transfer to the successor operator as part of that transaction.
• The successor operator will be required to honour the data commitments in these terms and the Privacy Policy in effect at the time of transfer.
• You will be notified by email at least 30 days before any such transfer takes place.
• You will have the right to delete your account and all associated data before the transfer, at no consequence to you.
• After the transfer, the successor operator becomes the new data controller and is responsible for all data obligations.

This clause exists to be transparent about a realistic future event, not because a sale is planned or imminent.

10. Intellectual property

The LordReverb name, logo and all original editorial content are the property of the operator. All rights reserved. Use of the brand or content without written permission is not permitted.

11. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• Scrape or systematically download content from LordReverb without permission.
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its infrastructure.
• Post spam, fake reviews or misleading information in Stacks.
• Impersonate another artist or submit false gear information.
• Submit false, misleading, or rights-infringing content to Playlists, News or Releases.
• Interfere with or disrupt the site's operation.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, the operator of LordReverb is not liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, including decisions made based on its content.

13. Third-party links

LordReverb links to external sites. There is no responsibility for their content, privacy practices or terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Alkmaar, Netherlands.

15. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated at any time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. For significant changes, including any commercial transition or change of operator, registered users will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the site after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
