Mixtape guidelines
The Mixtape features tracks from the LordReverb community. These are the rules for sending one.
Who can send a track
- You need a LordReverb account and a Stack page. Your track links to your Stack.
- The track is your own music, or you have the right to share it.
- It is already on Spotify. You send us the Spotify link, we never host your audio.
- One track per person per month. You can change it until it is picked.
How tracks are picked
- LordReverb picks by hand, the same way we choose what to review. It is an editorial choice, not a competition: there are no votes, no rankings and no prizes.
- The number of tracks changes from month to month.
- Sending a track does not mean it will be featured. We may not give a reason.
- Featuring a track is free and cannot be bought.
Streams
- We do not count or reward streams, and we ask nobody to stream on loop or from extra accounts.
- Artificial streaming goes against Spotify's rules and can get a track removed from the Mixtape.
What featuring means
- Your track is shown with Spotify's own player on LordReverb, with your artist name, genre, your short line and a link to your Stack.
- We may mention the track on our social media or newsletter, with your artist name.
- You give us no rights to your music. Your music stays yours.
- Ask us to take your track off the Mixtape at any time: info@lordreverb.com.
What we remove
Music you do not have the right to share, illegal, hateful or misleading content, and anything that breaks the Terms of Service.
Your data
What you send is used to run the Mixtape. More in the Privacy Policy. Spotify's player is shown on the site by Spotify, and Spotify may set cookies when it loads.
