Salvatore started writing for LordReverb because most gear coverage falls into one of two traps: it's either written by someone chasing affiliate clicks with no real testing behind it, or it's spec-sheet copy-paste that tells you nothing about how something actually sounds. Neither is useful when you're about to spend $200 on a plugin.

Every review on LordReverb gets tested in a real session before a word goes down. That means running audio through it, pushing it until it breaks, comparing it to the competition, and forming an actual opinion. If something isn't worth your money, we say so. If something is overrated, we say that too.

What Salvatore covers

He's also deep in the AI music tools space, which he tracks closely because it's moving fast and most coverage of it is hype with no substance.

Outside of plugins, he writes the how-to guides. Step-by-step tutorials are his thing: clear, no fluff, written for someone who's already opened their DAW and wants the answer fast.

How we test

We don't test in a vacuum. Plugins get run on real audio: drum buses, vocal chains, full mixes. Hardware gets compared to its closest software equivalents. Prices get checked at the time of writing and updated when they change.
